How to get Birth Certificate for my new born kid?
To obtain birth certificate follow the below process.

Here are the steps to obtain a birth certificate for your new born baby:
1. Obtain the RCH ID: Visit your local Primary Health Centre to get your RCH ID. (Refer to the PICME (RCH ID) article on how to obtain the RCH ID)
2. Provide the RCH ID: Submit the RCH ID at the hospital during your regular checkup visits.
3. Register the Birth: After the baby is born, fill out the birth registration form at the hospital and submit both parents' Aadhaar cards.
4. Receive Acknowledgement: Once the birth registration form is submitted, the hospital will provide you with a birth registration acknowledgement card.
5. Hospital Submission: The hospital sends the birth details to the government Birth Registration Office.
6. Name Registration: After selecting a name for your baby, either the mother or father must visit the Birth Registration Office (Ward 42) to register the baby's name after 21 days from child birth date.
7. Submit Required Documents: At the Birth Registration Office, submit the following documents:
- Aadhaar cards of both parents
- Hospital acknowledgement card
- RCH ID
8. Certificate Issuance: After completing these procedures, you can download the soft copy of birth certificate online or from nearby E-Sevai center. Hard copy of the birth certificate can be obtained by visiting the birth registration office.
